1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BookRide's taxi booking services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Service Description

BookRide provides taxi booking services through our website and mobile application. We connect passengers with licensed drivers and vehicles for transportation services including city rides, outstation trips, and airport transfers.

3. User Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking, you agree to provide accurate pickup and drop locations, date, and time. Bookings are subject to driver availability and confirmation.

4.2 Pricing

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and applicable taxes. Prices may vary based on demand, time of day, and special events. Final fare will be displayed before confirmation.

4.3 Payment

Payment can be made through cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, or digital wallets. All payments must be completed as per the payment terms specified at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking subject to the following conditions:

• One-way drops: Cancellation more than 4 hours before pickup — full refund (if paid online)
• Multi-day packages: Cancellation more than 24 hours before scheduled trip start — fully refundable
• One-way drops: Cancellation 1–4 hours before pickup — 50% refund
• One-way drops: Cancellation less than 1 hour before pickup — no refund
• Multi-day packages: Cancellation within 24 hours of trip start — no refund unless otherwise agreed at booking
• No-show: No refund

BookRide reserves the right to cancel bookings due to driver unavailability, safety concerns, or other operational reasons, in which case a full refund will be provided.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time
• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
• Not engage in illegal activities during the ride
• Not damage or tamper with the vehicle
• Pay all applicable fares and charges
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Driver and Vehicle Standards

We ensure that all drivers are licensed, verified, and vehicles are properly maintained. However, BookRide acts as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for the actions of individual drivers.

8. Limitation of Liability

BookRide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to delays, accidents, or loss of personal belongings.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BookRide harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by BookRide and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

11. Modifications to Terms

BookRide reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
